With the right choice for the perfect result

The right choice of image

For the best results, we recommend a high-resolution image of your horse in landscape format (16:9) . This format provides the best basis for a harmonious design, as it can be flexibly adjusted without losing important details.

Ideally, the focus should be on your horse's head or front part of the body. Placing the subject slightly to the side and not too close to the edge of the image leaves enough room for balanced cropping. This way, proportions and expression can be optimally preserved, regardless of the format in which your artwork is later realized.

Make sure the image is well exposed and has clear contrasts so that every detail – from a blaze to facial expressions to the texture of the fur – is perfectly showcased.

Important: Your uploaded picture should only show your horse and no people!

Do I have to order the custom artwork including the logo of my horse first before I can have it printed on products?

Yes, you can only purchase products and have them printed after you have ordered and paid for a custom artwork, including your horse's logo. The print files you have approved will be stored in your login area, and you can then have products of your choice printed with your horse's artwork and logo.
Does every image work?

Our designers are pretty good, but it's important to stick to the guidelines. You can find help here if you're unsure.
My horse or stable name is quite long. Will it be truncated in Hoof Designer, or will there be display issues?

In the digital preview in Hoof Designer, longer names may appear truncated or abbreviated with '...'. This is due to the limitations of the preview in the product window. Don't worry – we'll adjust the text perfectly during the actual production. Our design team ensures that even longer names are optimally integrated into the artwork without any truncation.
Will I first see a proof of the artwork, including my horse's logo?

Absolutely! After you've chosen one of the three artworks, we'll email you a proof of the artwork and logo. Once you approve it, the final print-quality files will be uploaded to your login area. Now you can start printing your products!
Can I also receive just the artwork including my horse's logo?

Of course! You don't have to purchase any additional products. We only design the digital files (artwork including logo). In any case, you enjoy the advantage of having your horse's artwork, including your logo, stored in our online shop and accessible at any time. Can I have my horse's artwork and/or logo printed on different products and sent in one order?

Yes, of course! Simply add your horse's artwork or logo to the products of your choice and then add them to your shopping cart one by one.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?

We'll design your custom artwork, including your horse's logo, within 72 hours. It will then take another 3-5 business days for us to print the product of your choice with the artwork or logo and ship it directly to you.
Does Hoofprint also ship internationally?

We currently only ship within Germany, but this could expand very quickly. To stay up to date with the latest information regarding delivery regions and different shipping costs, we recommend subscribing to our free newsletter!
