Legal aspects & conditions for gift vouchers
We want you to be able to use our Hoofprint gift vouchers worry-free. Therefore, you'll find all important legal information regarding validity, redemption, and returns here.
Validity & Expiry
Your gift voucher is valid for 3 years, starting from the end of the year of purchase (§ 195 BGB, § 199 BGB).
A shorter validity period is only permitted for promotional or discount vouchers.
After the expiry date, the voucher can no longer be redeemed – an extension is not possible.
Redemption & Use
The voucher can be used for all products in our online shop, unless otherwise stated.
Partial redemption is possible – the remaining amount remains and can be used for future orders.
If the order value exceeds the voucher value, you can pay the difference using another payment method.
The voucher cannot be subsequently applied to an order that has already been completed.
No entitlement to cash payment
The voucher value cannot be paid out in cash – neither in full nor in part.
Even if there is a remaining balance, this can only be used for future purchases in the shop.
Return & Refund
The purchase of a gift voucher is excluded from the right of withdrawal (Section 312g Paragraph 2 No. 9 of the German Civil Code).
If you return an item that you paid for with a voucher, you will receive the amount as a new voucher or as credit – no cash payment.
Gift vouchers are not personal and can be passed on to third parties.
Security & Fraud Protection
Each voucher has a unique code that can only be redeemed once.
Unauthorized reproduction or manipulation is prohibited.
Vouchers may not be resold commercially.
